With a strong vision to spread quality education in Odisha, BIST was established under the guidance of dedicated educationists who dreamed of creating a hub of learning for young minds. The college began its journey in a calm, green, and peaceful environment — providing students a home-like space for academic and personal growth.

BIST started with CHSE-affiliated +2 Science and Commerce streams, and over the years, expanded to offer a wide range of higher education programs. With growing trust and support, +3 Degree courses in Science (Hons) and Commerce (Hons) were introduced to meet the evolving academic demands.

Taking a step further, BIST also launched professional courses like BCA and BBA, keeping pace with the current job market and technological trends.

BIST Is proudly affiliated with to Council of Higher Secondary Education and Approved By Govt Of Odisha. 

Through its journey, BIST has remained committed to its mission: to provide meaningful, skill-based, and value-driven education that empowers the youth of Odisha and beyond.

The college offers +2 Science and Commerce streams, as well as +3 Degree courses in Science (Hons) and Commerce (Hons). Over the years, BIST has gained a strong reputation for providing a focused and supportive environment that helps students perform their best.
